Job Summary The Assembler is responsible for assembling, packaging, and shipping Therm-All/PDL door products at our Phoenix facility. This role supports daily production by using hand and power tools, following work orders, keeping materials organized, and preparing products for shipment. This is a hands-on position in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, assembling doors using hand and power tools, packaging and crating doors and materials, cleaning and organizing products, maintaining workstations and surrounding areas in a clean and orderly condition, and following all safety procedures. Use corded or cordless power and hand tools, such as drills, saws, nail guns and/or screw guns, drills, grinders, wrenches, screwdrivers, and various other tools Organize and maintain tools Customize and assemble products and materials: Drill, cut, and grind to precise specifications; assemble components by manufacturer requirements; problem-solve and make modifications when required; keep material organized and categorized

Paperwork:

Follow work orders; complete QC sheets, assist in monitoring and tracking inventory, and email/fax when required

Packaging:

Track packaging materials such as 2x4's, 4'x8' OSB, fasteners, and crate bases; enclose product on bases determined by product type/design; apply labels and packing slips

Shipping:

Load and unload trucks with a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand; assist in loading trucks scheduled for shipment; file and maintain all required shipping paperwork; verify all incoming shipments are correct; other duties as assigned Education, Skills, and Experience High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple tasks Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions Basic computer skills, including email and simple documents (Outlook, Excel, Word) Experience in distribution and/or building/construction industry is preferred Experience with inventory control and shipping/logistics is helpful, but not required

Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
