Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Woodshop Display Assembler to join our dynamic team.

The Wood Shop & Display Assembler is responsible for maintaining an organized woodshop, assembling and modifying display products, and managing display inventory to support efficient production and on-time delivery. This position requires hands-on woodworking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments Essential Duties and Responsibilities Woodshop Operations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized woodshop environment. Operate woodworking tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Complete woodworking projects according to specifications. Monitor and maintain adequate levels of woodshop supplies and materials. Display Assembly Assemble a variety of display products, including knockdown displays and glue-up assemblies. Apply stains, paints, and other finishes as required. Modify display components using woodworking techniques to meet design and customer specifications. Inspect completed displays to ensure quality standards are met. Build and maintain inventory of completed display units. Inventory Management Maintain organized inventory of display components, hardware, and supplies. Monitor inventory levels and notify management when replenishment is needed. Track and report scrapped or damaged display components. Assist in inventory counts and inventory accuracy. Production Support Coordinate with Finishing and Shipping departments to ensure displays are completed and delivered on schedule. Prioritize work to meet production deadlines and customer requirements. Support continuous improvement efforts related to production efficiency, quality, and workplace organization. Qualifications Experience with woodworking tools, equipment, and machinery. Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, drawings, and specifications. Basic knowledge of staining, painting, and finishing techniques. Strong organizational and inventory management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in woodworking, display manufacturing, cabinetry, millwork, or related production environments. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing and woodshop environment. Work Environment This position is primarily based in a manufacturing and woodshop setting and requires adherence to all company safety policies and procedures.
Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
