Job Title:
Aerospace Assembler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Aerospace Assembler to perform precision assembly on production aerospace parts, specifically focusing on water systems like toilets and pumps. The role requires assembling parts according to customer specifications while ensuring high-quality standards. Responsibilities Perform precision assembly on aerospace parts, attaching components according to customer specifications. Follow drawings and detailed work instructions to assemble high-quality aerospace components. Self-inspect work to ensure quality, reporting any defects or unusual conditions to the Assembly Lead. Utilize a variety of mechanical measuring equipment, such as dial indicators, calipers, and indicating micrometers, to meet assembly-build requirements. Maintain dimensional accuracy using torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, gauges, and other measuring devices. Work from assembly instructions, whether written or oral, following process specifications, work orders, blueprints, schedules, schematics, layout & modification sheets, engineering orders, and verbal/written instructions. Essential Skills Proficient in assembly and mechanical assembly. Experience using power tools and mechanical measuring equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Familiarity with ITAR regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in plumbing or working with pipe/tubing is a plus. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carson, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
