Production Assembler

Johnson Service Group is currently looking for a Production Assembler with 3-5 years’ experience to join our team at our facility in Chatsworth, CA. This is a Temp-Direct job.

Shift:

7:00 AM- 3:30

PM Pay Rate:

$24.00 HR Primary Responsibilities The production assembler is responsible for assembling from sub-assembly to the finished unit according to drawings, carts, and manufacturing procedures. Your day-to-day work may include, but is not limited to: • Performs electromechanical assemblies in the form of sub-assemblies and final assembly product under a microscope. • Assemble ultra-miniature assemblies or be fully proficient in a specific product line. • It operates standard shop equipment including soldering iron, microscope, ultrasonic cleaner, and furnaces. • Reworks malfunctioning units. • Communicates with the calibration department to ensure accurate assembly and proper operation of the units. • Conduct ongoing cross-training to increase skills and knowledge. • Weld miniature parts under a microscope for extended periods during the work shift. • Flexible and capable of processing more complex assemblies with minimal oversight. • Performs other duties as assigned. Professional Qualifications • 3-5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly, soldering under a microscope • Must be able to read and understand engineering assembly drawings. • Advanced schematic reading and ability to troubleshoot assemblies. • Good mechanical aptitude. • Good dexterity of hands and eyes. • Good communication skills. • Certified for J-STD C or IPC-610. • Must be a local candidate.
