Job Description:

JSG is hiring 2nd shift Assemblers in Fountain Valley, CA.

Pay rate:

$17.50 Skills Receives job kits which include the components, assembly drawing, bill of material (BOM) and work instructions. May be assigned any or all process steps in the assembly of the item. Inspects for completeness by matching components and component quantity for assigned process step with job paperwork. Checks requirements for required tools and fixtures. Review drawing notes and reviews any special instructions that need to be addressed. Follows work instructions according to assembly drawing and assigned process steps from Production Manager. Assembles packs with processes that may include but not limited to; gluing, soldering, taping, crimping pins, applying labels, checking voltages and checking battery pack dimensions. Moves product to next assembly step or final inspection if complete.

IPC-A-610

soldering certification a plus. 2 years in electronics assembly production environment with soldering skills. Able to read work instructions and assembly drawings. PC Board soldering experience a plus.

MSO-0003

training is optional. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings. Ability to use basic measuring equipment such as calipers. Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
