Cleanroom Manufacturing Full Job Description Pay:
$21•24/hr

1st Shift (6:00 AM•2:30 PM)
Location:
Fremont, CA Position Overview The Cleanroom Production Technician works within an Advanced Technology Cleaning Center to process and clean new and in‑process tool chamber parts, eliminating micro‑contamination. This Cleanroom Production Technician role involves using various machines, chemicals, and cleaning methods in both cleanroom and chemical‑processing environments. Safety is the top priority, and proper PPE is required at all times. Cleanroom Production Technicians may progress through Levels I-IV based on certifications, performance, safety, quality, and demonstrated competencies. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Process parts using chemical and manual cleaning methods. Perform receiving, wiping, scrubbing, masking, chemical processing, machine operation, etching, blasting, coating, drying, baking, and other assigned tasks. Follow all SOPs, Lean manufacturing processes, and company policies. Complete required training for assigned processes. Maintain organization and cleanliness of the work area. Attend monthly safety meetings and required training. Handle hazardous chemicals safely and follow proper disposal procedures. Maintain strong time‑management and task‑organization skills. Practice safe work habits and maintain high environmental awareness. Seek opportunities to learn new processes and advance skill levels. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to perform repetitive tasks with quick turnaround times. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel). Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends or evenings. Ability to wear cleanroom gowning (hairnet, frock). Ability to take SPC measurements and accurately log data. Strong safety awareness and adherence to 6S practices. Education & Certifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. AA degree in a technical field or some college coursework preferred. Experience Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or materials‑related processes. 3+ years of hands‑on experience preferred. Experience in parts cleaning, coating technologies, or semiconductor/high‑tech environments is a plus. Kaizen or Lean training is highly desirable. Media blasting and Quality Assurance experience are beneficial. Physical Demands Ability to kneel, reach, walk, push, pull, and grasp. Ability to stand for long periods. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs consistently. Daily exposure to hazardous chemicals. Ability to read and understand written instructions. Ability to communicate with coworkers; accommodations available for emergency alerts if needed.

$21.00•$24.00 per hour
