Full Job Description Overview:

PACE Supply's Groundwater Division is seeking a motivated and reliable Assembler to join our Build Center in Fresno, CA. This role is responsible for assembling and preparing a variety of pump systems and components for distribution, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safety throughout the process. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. While training will be provided, prior mechanical or assembly experience is a plus. This is a great opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing company.

Responsibilities:

Perform back filing and balancing of impellers to ensure proper fit and performance Build and assemble skids for crating and shipment Paint and tag components accurately according to specifications Set up and assemble centrifugal pumps, submersible turbines, vertical turbines, and short set line shaft turbines Follow work instructions, blueprints, and specifications to ensure quality assembly Inspect parts and completed assemblies for accuracy and quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Participate in training to develop product knowledge and assembly skills

Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED or equivalent preferred Previous assembly, mechanical, or manufacturing experience preferred Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools Ability to read and follow instructions, blueprints, and diagrams Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift Dependable with strong attendance and work ethic Forklift experience is a plus (or willingness to be trained) Basic knowledge and proper use of the English language, including reading, writing, and oral communications. Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors) Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment. Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices. Work Environment Physical Requirements:

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck. Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Environmental Conditions:

The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
