Job Title:
Electro-Mechanical Assembler Job Description An aerospace company specializing in cockpit security systems, lavatory equipment, flight controls, and interior/exterior hardware is seeking an experienced electro-mechanical assembler for their B Department. Responsibilities Assemble and rework electronic and electromechanical precision assemblies and subassemblies such as switches, syncros, potentiometer gear boxes, and circuit boxes. Utilize hand tools and light power tools such as drill press, hand grinder, and sanders. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Perform soldering and wiring as required to complete the product. Conduct electromechanical sub-assembly, soldering, coil winding, and solenoid tasks. Notify lead of shortages or inferior parts immediately. Produce quality work with inspection checks by Assembly Lead or Quality Control. Maintain good housekeeping and safety principles in completing work assignments. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Minimum of 7+ months experience as an electro-mechanical or mechanical assembler. Proficiency in soldering and electromechanical assembly within the aerospace industry. Experience with blueprints and hand tools such as Phillips/flat screwdriver, wire stripper, nut driver, wrench, cutter, and pliers. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 2 years of experience as an assembler in aerospace. Familiarity with assembly processes in aerospace manufacturing. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in an aerospace manufacturing environment with exposure to machine noises and fumes typical of a production setting. The role operates Monday through Friday, 1st shift starting at 5am or 6am until 2:30pm, with some overtime and occasional Saturdays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Fullerton, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
