Position Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and client-focused High-End Residential Furniture Installer to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company in luxury homes, executing the final, most critical phase of our design projects. You will handle careful delivery, precise assembly, anchoring, and placement of high-end furniture and custom architectural millwork.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Proficient in visual inspection & quality check tasks before, during, and after assembly. Assemble, install, and secure luxury, custom, and flat-pack furniture according to manufacturer specifications and interior design plans. Prepare client homes by laying down floor protection and carefully clearing workspaces. Adjust, align, and troubleshoot high-end pieces. Safely mount wall units, shelving, and heavy mirrors to exact tolerances without compromising the surrounding architecture. Interact professionally and courteously with homeowners, interior designers, and project managers. Safely load, unload, and transport high-value merchandise using proper lifting equipment. Inspect all products for defects or damage prior to and during installation. Safely knows how to operate hand tools and small power tools to install hardware, align panels, and mount items to walls. Provide high-quality service, answer customer questions, and communicate with supervisors regarding any on-site challenges or product shortages. Conduct walk-throughs to ensure placement meets design intent and client approval. Complete a sign-off sheet certifying the installation is free of defects and leaves the property immaculate.
Physical Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in white-glove furniture delivery, custom assembly, or high-end residential installation. Advanced working knowledge of standard and specialized hand and power tools. Strong near-vision and attention to detail to identify minor aesthetic or structural flaws. High level of spatial reasoning, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot fitment issues creatively on-site. Must be able to routinely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy, oversized, and delicate furniture pieces often 50lbs to over 100 lbs. Outstanding presentation, spotless personal grooming standards, and the ability to operate respectfully in luxurious, high-end residential environments. Strong problem-solving abilities, teamwork-oriented, and excellent communication skills. Previous experience with furniture installation, assembly, or carpentry is often preferred. Bilingual-Spanish The number of hours per week varies depending on the daily needs of our clients. Working overtime hours, on holidays and weekends are also possibilities. The annual range for this role is from $22-28. However, specific compensation for the role will vary within the above range based on many factors including but not limited to geographic location, candidate experience, applicable certifications, and skills.
