Schedule:
Monday•Thursday, 6:00 AM•4:30 PM (4 x 10-hour shifts); Friday off Position Summary The Assembler is responsible for manufacturing high-quality products in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and production documentation. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety standards. The Assembler supports production operations by completing assembly tasks and collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed. Key Responsibilities Perform complex production assembly tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Operate a variety of production equipment, including small hand tools and power tools. Assemble products based on verbal and written instructions, including routers, travelers, and engineering documentation. Ensure all work meets established quality standards and specifications. Participate in required training and certification programs, including soldering certification where applicable. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety guidelines. Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by production or manufacturing leadership. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience Minimum of 1 year of related manufacturing or assembly experience required. Experience with fine-point soldering (including use of specified gauge wires and microscopes up to 10x magnification) preferred. Prior soldering training or certification is a plus. In-process inspection experience is preferred but not required. Experience working with and mixing compounds for potting is preferred but not required. Skills & Competencies Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English; bilingual Spanish is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to follow detailed instructions and technical documentation. Dependable, responsible, and accountable in completing assigned tasks. Cooperative team player with a positive attitude.
Physical & Technical Requirements Near Vision:
Ability to see and focus on objects at close range; subject to annual vision testing.
Finger Dexterity:
Ability to manipulate and assemble very small components with precision.
Manual Dexterity:
Ability to quickly and accurately move hands and arms to assemble products.
Arm-Hand Steadiness:
Ability to maintain steady hand positioning during detailed work.
Oral Comprehension:
Ability to understand spoken instructions and information. Work Environment This position operates in a manufacturing environment and may require extended periods of sitting or standing while performing detailed assembly work.
