Position Overview Powersports of Modesto is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented PDI Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and preparing new units for sale and delivery. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong mechanical aptitude, and enjoys working in a fast-paced dealership environment. Key Responsibilities Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides, personal watercraft, and other powersports units. Assemble and prepare incoming units according to manufacturer specifications. Verify proper operation of all mechanical and electrical components before customer delivery. Install accessories and perform basic setup as needed. Ensure all units meet dealership quality standards and manufacturer requirements. Maintain accurate documentation of completed inspections and setup procedures. Assist with unit movement, showroom setup, and inventory organization. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all company policies and safety procedures. Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand and power tools. Powersports, automotive, or equipment assembly experience preferred but not required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the day. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
