BEPC is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to support reagent filling, packaging, and assembly operations within a regulated manufacturing environment in Pomona, CA. This role involves performing semi-routine production tasks, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting equipment setup and troubleshooting activities, and ensuring compliance with GMP and quality standards. The ideal candidate has experience in assembling, reagent filling, or packaging operations and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that requires strong attention to detail and consistent documentation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform assembly, filling, packaging, inspection, and testing activities following written procedures and work orders Set up and operate Masterflex equipment to perform reagent filling activities according to production guidelines Support manufacturing setup activities including: Line clearance Equipment setup Preventative maintenance Housekeeping activities Perform visual inspections and quality checks on products and packaging materials Complete production documentation accurately, including handwritten GMP records and manufacturing paperwork Read and follow work orders, SOPs, and production instructions Assist Engineering and Maintenance teams with troubleshooting and minor equipment repairs Perform and document routine equipment cleaning and maintenance activities Dispose of hazardous materials following company safety procedures Support continuous improvement initiatives such as: 5S OEE activities Process improvement projects Assist with new equipment installation and validation activities Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities under supervisor guidance Collaborate with Engineers, QC Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, and Production teams to improve manufacturing processes Maintain compliance with: GMP standards FDA regulations ISO requirements Company quality procedures

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required 2-5 years of experience in: Manufacturing assembly, Filling operations, Packaging operations, Reagent handling, or Production environments Basic knowledge of: GMP documentation Filling and packaging processes Manufacturing procedures Ability to perform basic math calculations Ability to read and follow work orders and written instructions Basic computer skills including minimal Excel experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work on feet throughout the shift and rotate through tasks during the day Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Pharmaceutical manufacturing Medical device manufacturing Food manufacturing environments Familiarity with: FDA regulations ISO standards OSHA requirements Experience with manufacturing systems and inventory controls MS Office Suite experience

Work Environment:

Fully onsite manufacturing environment Detailed assembly and packaging work requiring accuracy and consistency Standing for extended periods throughout the shift Frequent rotation between production tasks Lifting requirements up to 15 lbs Paper-based GMP documentation environment
