Manufacturing Full Job Description Pressing Orthotic Shells:
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join our team as an Orthotics Technician at our company. This role involves operating machinery to manufature orthotic and ensuring precision and quality throughout the process. You will play a critical role in manufacturing custom orthotics, ensuring each product meets the specifications and requirements outlined in DPM evaluation forms.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machinery and equipement used for pressing orthotic manufacturing. May handle machinery that operates at high temperatures, following all safety protocols.
Reading and Following Instructions:
Review evaluation forms thoroughly to understand the specifications for each orthotic product. Ensure that the correct items are selected and applied according to evuation.
Quality Assurance:
Verify that all modifications requested on evaluation forms are completed accurately. Inspect orthotics for defects and ensure they meet company quality standards.
Safety and Maintenance:
Adhere to safety protocols when working around high-temperature machinery. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any issues to management.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with team members to ensure workflow efficiency. Communicate any discrepancies or issues with evaluation forms to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and interpret detailed instructions and technical forms. Comfortable working with high-temperature machinery. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Basic mechanical skills and an understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in orthotics or manufacturing environments. Familiarity with pressing machinery and quality control processes.
Work Environment:
