Soldering Assembler

Summary/objective :

Perform a variety of repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, chassis, frames, and cables. Assemble electronic and mechanical components using manual and semi-automated tools, including: (drivers, wrenches, soldering guns, etc…) Work with a team to assemble components as part of a larger assembly. Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. Perform in-process quality checks on assembly. Perform rework and repair as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Able to read and interpret engineering drawings. Adept in basic computer skills (typing, mouse, data entry) A team player, willing to help the production team as needed to complete assigned tasks. Flexible and willing to continually learn new processes and products. Surface mount and thru-hole soldering for components following industry standards. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve assembly process and product quality. Participate in training programs to stay updated on new assembly techniques and technologies. Familiar with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO, and other regulatory processes as required.

Competency :

1-3 years of relevant experience in electro-mechanical assembly preferred.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm

From $18.50 per hour
