In this role, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality LED lighting products by following detailed schematics and technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical skills, with experience in surface mount technology, soldering, and electrical wiring. Pay & Schedule $20.00 per hour Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Responsibilities Assemble LED components and modules according to detailed schematics and IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies. Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to prepare parts and perform precise mechanical assembly. Solder surface mount components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) using appropriate techniques to ensure reliable electrical connections. Verify electrical wiring and connections using ohmmeters and other testing devices to ensure functionality. Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions accurately. Conduct quality inspections of assembled units, ensuring compliance with IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and manufacturing best practices. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues related to assembly or electrical wiring. Assist in the calibration of tools such as calipers and other measurement devices for precision assembly. Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements for efficiency and quality. Requirements Proven experience in PCB assembly, soldering, and surface mount technology within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment. Familiarity with reading schematics, electrical wiring diagrams, and technical drawings. Knowledge of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies is highly desirable. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Ability to use testing instruments such as ohmmeters effectively for troubleshooting. Electrical experience with wiring, soldering, and circuit testing required. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes including schematics interpretation and assembly procedures. Excellent attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
