DatamanUSA is looking for an Assembler 3 for our direct client based in CO. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a quick learner with excellent people skills.

Months Responsibilities:
  • ) Perform mechanical assembly of components, subassemblies, and machines using hand and power tools
  • ) Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and bills of materials
  • ) Align, fit, and adjust parts to ensure proper functionality and tolerances
  • ) Install mechanical systems including bearings, gears, motors, shafts, conveyors, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • ) Perform drilling, tapping, grinding, and fabrication tasks as required
  • ) Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure product meets specifications
  • ) Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical assembly issues
  • ) Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S and safety standards
  • ) Adhere to OSHA and company safety procedures
  • ) Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams
Basic Qualifications:
  • ) High School Diploma or GED required
  • ) 1-3+ years of mechanical assembly experience (machinery/industrial equipment preferred)
  • ) Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly instructions
  • ) Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches)
  • ) Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
  • ) Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • ) Familiarity with fabrication techniques such as welding, machining (CNC), and assembly processes
  • ) Experience with quality inspections using measuring tools
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ) Technical or vocational training in mechanical technology or related field
  • ) Experience in custom machinery, automation, or manufacturing environments
  • ) Forklift or overhead crane certification
  • ) Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
  • ) Understanding of GD&T standards
  • ) Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers)
  • ) Willingness to work overtime (up to 10 hours/week)
  • ) Physically active / able to meet job physical demands
Physical Requirements:
  • ) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • ) Prolonged standing, bending, and reaching
  • ) Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • ) Comfortable working in a moderate-noise manufacturing environment
