Job Description

Finish Supervisor Unique woodworking manufactures premium grade residential cabinetry as well as plastic laminate commercial grade cabinetry. The Finish Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all finish department operations, ensuring consistent quality finishes are applied properly. This position reports to the Production manager.
Essential functions:
Develop and maintain all finishes that are applied to cabinet components. Consistent documentation and training in how finishes are applied, with a process is critical. Collaborate closely with project management and production manager to ensure finish samples are developed in a timely manner with documentation. Keep all finish department areas clean and organized. Maintain all finish equipment. Maintain finish quality standards. Spot check all finished products daily for color and sheen consistency. Develop, train supervise finish department employees. Ensure all finish supplies are being purchased in a timely fashion. Secondary functions Safety first, quality second, production third. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, project managers, to ensure projects are processed properly. Keep production areas clean, neat, and organized. • Knowledge of sanding processes.
