Job Description
Final Assembler in Longmont, CO
- $22•24/hour
Pay:
$22- 24/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Build Quality Products from Start to Finish Are you hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working with tools? As a Final Assembler , you'll play an important role in the final stage of production—assembling, testing, and packaging electrical enclosures to ensure they're fully ready for shipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys mechanical work, light electrical tasks, and being part of a small, collaborative manufacturing team. What You'll Be Doing In this role, you'll help bring products across the finish line by making sure every enclosure meets quality and testing standards.Your responsibilities will include:
Assembling pre‑built backplates into electrical enclosures of various sizes Testing completed enclosures to confirm they meet manufacturing and certification requirements Performing basic data testing and accurately recording all results Documenting outgoing shipments and associated test information Packaging, boxing, and prepping products for shipment according to guidelines Inspecting finished enclosures and hardware to ensure quality and packaging standards are met Using hand and power tools such as drills, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers Working closely with one other assembler to meet daily production goals Following all safety procedures when lifting, moving, and handling equipment What We're Looking For You'll do well in this role if you are reliable, detail‑oriented, and enjoy hands‑on work.Ideal candidates will have:
Experience with mechanical assembly or hands‑on manufacturing work Comfort using basic hand and power tools Basic computer skills for testing and documentation Strong attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how parts fit together Ability to work well as part of a small team Consistent attendance and strong work ethic Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and assist with heavier items (up to 100 lbs) using lift assists or team lifts Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift throughout the shift Nice to Have (But Not Required) Previous manufacturing or production experience Familiarity with electrical enclosures or basic electrical components Experience with packaging or shipping processes Strong organizational skills for tracking test results and shipments Why You'll Like Working Here Steady first‑shift schedule with weekends free Hands‑on work that keeps the day moving Small team environment where reliability and teamwork are valued Opportunity to build mechanical and basic electrical skills Safety‑focused workplace with clear procedures and expectations Work Environment Manufacturing setting with moderate noise levels Standing workstation for most of the shift Physically active role involving lifting, bending, and movement Use of hand tools, power tools, and electrical components Lift assists and team lifts available for heavier equipment Who This Role Is Great For This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in accuracy and quality, and wants a stable, weekday schedule in a production environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Longmont, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00- $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
