Full Job Description Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts (Monday-Thursday, 6 AM - 4:30 PM) Job description: Recreational Electrical builds high quality custom first responder police, fire, government fleet, and public works vehicles. The foundation of our vehicle builds is our in-house harness production department. These harnesses control lights, sirens, radios, and more. We are looking for a Wiring Harness Assembly Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level position, perfect for someone looking for their first job or starting a career in the automotive or electrical industry. No prior experience is required—we provide on-the-job training and tools.
What You'll Do:
Work closely with a team to assemble high-quality wiring harnesses for police, fire, EMS, and government fleet vehicles. Rotate throughout the department, learning how to operate termination and wire-cutting machines, use industry-specific hand tools, and route wires and connectors. Read wiring schematics and follow company standards. Meet production goals while maintaining strict quality standards.
What We're Looking For:
No experience needed —on the job training is provided. Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality, accurate work. Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and continuously improve. Takes ownership of mistakes and communicates issues. Dependable, with consistent attendance and ability to reliably start at 6:00 AM. Comfortable working on your feet and using your hands throughout the day. Able to work independently after training while contributing to a team environment.
