Job Description

Entry level position reporting to Production Lead, an Assembler I performs a series of operations to correctly assemble and test various Chapco related products.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies. Follow detailed parts lists, assembly instructions and templates to assemble Chapco product from start to finish. Comply with policies and guidelines. Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Lead. Punch in and out of JobBoss or record time/ production quantities using applicable procedure. Utilize kanban system, communicate potential parts shortages to Production Lead when necessary. Other tasks as assigned. Cell and/or Department Flow Stage materials required for assembly work, using appropriate templates when applicable. Communicates questions or issues to Production Lead to continuously produce quality product. Quality & Training Understand requirements of job to assure quality, accurate quantity and on-time production. Participate in quality initiatives when applicable. Maintenance and Safety Follow company policy pertaining to maintenance and safety requirements. Maintain a clean and organized environment and at all times to facility assembly functions. Chapco Team Player Willing to think outside the box when problem solving and participate in any project not necessarily falling within this description as necessary or applicable. Collaborate with fellow staff members to assure the success of all.
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:
Ability to use manual and power hand tools. Able to accomplish forklift training, if applicable. Stooping, Bending, lifting (10-25 lbs), sitting, walking. Specific vision requirement include close vision and color vision. Available to work over-time if needed Strong team player and reliable. High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Able to understand and follow Chapco policy and procedures.
Full Time:
1st Mon - Fri, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Part Time:
Negotiable Schedule, but needs to be consistent
