This role involves cutting, trimming, bending, soldering, and inspecting components using specialized tools and equipment to ensure quality and accuracy. The assembler also maintains documentation, supports a clean and safe workspace, and collaborates with team members to meet production goals. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Cutting and trimming of coaxial cable using small saws, hand tools and trimming machines, following detailed instructions and using precise measurement tools. Measure, mark and cut shrink tubing for part identification using work instructions. Set up and bend of semi-rigid cable assemblies using Engineering supplied layouts and specialized bending fixtures. Wind delay lines to meet customer specifications, referencing drawings and engineering supplied work instructions. Assemble and fabricate coaxial cable assemblies using soldering irons, resistive soldering equipment and inductive tools, following both customer drawings and internal work instructions. Solder small components using camera magnification tools to ensure precision. Document completed job steps through inspection signoffs and ERP system scanning. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company standards. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration with colleagues. Requirements High School or GED Minimum of 2 years of electronics assembly experience. Experience with coaxial components and/or RF strongly preferred. Familiarity with coaxial cable assemblies and interface requirements of coaxial connectors Ability to use IPC-620 requirements to ensure quality standards are kept Ability to learn the current MRP system and use to manage labor cost reporting throughout production Ability to read, write, and comprehend work instructions in English Proficiency in using hand tools, small saws, trimming machines, and precision measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, rulers). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and work instructions. Skilled in soldering, including resistive and inductive soldering techniques, with the ability to work under camera magnification. Knowledge of coaxial cable construction, semi-rigid cable bending, and shrink tubing application. Ability to maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Strong time management skills to meet production deadlines without sacrificing quality. Effective teamwork and collaboration skills. Clear communication to coordinate with engineering, quality control, and other team members.
