Can predominantly work independently; with little to no guidance. Essential Functions Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and/or product specs of desired product Calculate and mark the dimensions of metal parts to be welded Inspect material and ensure all parts are properly fitted/aligned before welding Use of TIG (and sometimes MIG) welding Continuously check precision weld quality Move product to and from different areas as needed; the use of manual hand trucks and hydraulic assisted hand trucks Maintain a clean work area and keep up supplies needed to complete daily work Other duties may be assigned
