Contract-to-Hire (Temp-to-Perm) Job Description Masis Staffing is currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Assembler II candidates for a leading renewable energy manufacturer in South Windsor, CT. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and testing of critical components used in clean energy products. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company where safety, quality, and teamwork are top priorities. We are hiring for both 1st and 2nd shifts! Key Responsibilities Safely and efficiently assemble components to meet production standards. Perform hands-on fabrication and assembly of delicate parts using specialized equipment. Follow standardized processes, operations sheets, and work instructions to ensure high-quality output. Operate and monitor presses to form raw materials. Handle delicate components and work with chemicals such as phosphoric acid safely. Carry out functional testing and quality checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards. Complete and maintain accurate production documentation (OEE sheets, safety checklists). Assist in the reclaim process of tearing down older products returned from the field. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Cross-train and support other production duties as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred (will train the right candidate). Ability to read and follow operational sheets, diagrams, and instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Willingness to follow safety procedures and handle specialized materials. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Physical Requirements Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours. Ability to lift/move material up to 35 lbs. Good hand-eye coordination for precise assembly tasks. Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions. Comfortable working in a clean room and manufacturing environment (may require working from heights on a platform for limited time).
