Job Description

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cable and Wire Harness Assembler to join our team. This position requires technical proficiency, strong attention to quality, and the physical capability to work with a variety of electrical components. The assembler will follow detailed instructions, ensure product excellence at every stage, and help maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret wire diagrams, blueprints, and schematics for cable assembly. Assemble wires into cables and harness systems according to schematic drawings. Wrap and tie wires at designated points to form harnesses. Assemble electrical components, systems, and subsystems. Use both automatic and handheld wire strippers for preparing wire ends. Measure wires and finished cable assemblies to ensure quality standards. Solder parts or connections and apply protective coatings to ensure proper installation. Maintain a clean work area at the end of each day and week. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to sit, stand, and walk regularly; bend, stoop, and reach as needed. Must pass a vision exam for close inspection work. Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and schematics. Proficiency in using measuring tools and performing basic math. Effective use of all tools required for wire harness assembly. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
