Role Overview Operate independently performing advanced welding, blending, stress relief, and metal fabrication processes using TIG and MIG techniques in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Read, interpret, and execute operations per drawings and work instructions. Perform advanced welding operations using Gas Tungsten Arc, Metal Inert Gas, oxy-acetylene, and plasma cutting equipment. Conduct major Turbine and Combustion repairs (Class C). Install accessories on Turbine and Combustion components. Perform Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on equipment. Support on-the-job training and certification efforts while consistently meeting production requirements. Comply with all safety policies and report unsafe conditions. Collaborate with team members and participate in continuous improvement efforts. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; or at least three (3) years of related welding experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Pass
AWS D17.1
qualification test accepted by MHPS Level 3 Inspector. Ability to read, comprehend, and write basic instructions and correspondence. Basic mathematical skills including fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages. Ability to apply common sense reasoning to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as required in a manufacturing environment.
