- Full-time Join One of the Fastest Growing Car Wash Installation Companies in the Southeast The Carwash People is seeking experienced Car Wash Equipment Installers and Team Leads to join our growing installation division.
We specialize in the installation, integration, startup, and service of express tunnel car wash equipment throughout Florida, the Southeast & Northeast. If you have experience installing conveyor systems, arches, blowers, hydraulics, pneumatics, chemical delivery systems, low-voltage controls, or car wash equipment from manufacturers such as Sonny's, Motor City, Con-Serv, Laguna, Belanger, MacNeil, AVW, DRB, ICS, Micrologic or similar, we want to talk with you. Position Overview We are looking for highly motivated individuals who can work independently, lead installation crews, solve problems in the field, and maintain professional relationships with customers and subcontractors. This position requires travel and hands-on field work. Responsibilities Install and integrate tunnel car wash equipment Read and interpret installation drawings and site plans Install stainless hydraulic tubing and hydraulic components Install and route air, chemical, and water delivery systems Pull and terminate low-voltage wiring Assist with startup, testing, and troubleshooting Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, and general contractors Maintain project schedules and installation quality standards Complete punch list items and final commissioning tasks Train customers on equipment operation when required Lead installation crews and subcontractors (Team Lead positions) Preferred Qualifications Minimum 3 years of car wash installation experience Experience leading installation crews Strong mechanical aptitude Experience with low-voltage controls and automation systems Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems Ability to troubleshoot equipment and control systems Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift experience preferred Clean driving record Ability to travel extensively Ideal Candidate You are the person everyone calls when equipment isn't working.
