Assembly Technician

  • Longterm Contract Seeking skilled mechanical or PCB assemblers for a fantastic client here in the College Park area!
You will be using hand and power tools to perform final assembly.
Shift hours:
7:45 AM
  • 3:45 PM Monday
  • Fridays Pay rate: $20.

Key Responsibilities:
Assemble customer orders accurately and efficiently. Assemble valves, valve components, and valve control systems according to work instructions and engineering drawings. Perform in-process inspections to verify product quality and conformance to specifications. Test valves and related assemblies to ensure proper functionality. Document production and testing activities as required. Troubleshoot assembly issues and escalate concerns when needed. Support the production team in meeting daily output and quality goals. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Follow all OSHA regulations, ISO standards, and PPE requirements. Other duties, as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. 1+ years of related assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred. Ability to read and comprehend simple to complex work instructions in English. Ability to read and follow assembly drawings and written/verbal instructions. Basic computer skills required. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team. Experience with valve assembly, mechanical components, or industrial manufacturing is a plus.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility. Ability to stand, sit, or walk continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with a meal break.
