Job Description

Job Title:
General Production Worker Job Description The candidate will be responsible for constructing strong and aesthetically pleasing panel crates used to ship ACM formed panels. You will build custom-sized crates using various tools and materials, ensuring that each crate and its contents are securely packed and labeled according to specifications. Responsibilities Build custom size crates using chop saws, nail guns, screw guns, clamps, foam, and caulk. Measure custom panels per specified order to determine the necessary crate size and internal supports. Pack panels neatly with glued foam and wood to protect them during shipment. Ensure each crate has a visible panel number label not placed behind the wood frame. Ensure crates only contain panels specified in the work order. Ensure compliance with
OSHA, UL
Standards, Fire Code Regulations, and EPA Standards. Follow all corporate safety procedures for personnel and equipment. Maintain and log maintenance for all plant and equipment. Handle finished products to prevent damage. Read and interpret shop drawings proficiently. Perform basic carpentry skills to build and fabricate shipping crates or containers. Operate a forklift to safely load/unload trucks and handle materials. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor. Essential Skills Minimum 3 years of shipping experience. Proficient in reading and interpreting shop drawings. Basic carpentry skills. Ability to operate a forklift and safely load/unload trucks. Experience in a warehouse environment. Certified on fork truck. Additional Skills & Qualifications Good communication and interpersonal skills. Collaboration, adaptability, problem-solving, and time management. High school diploma. Adherence to safety regulations is essential, including the use of provided personal protective equipment (PPE). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cartersville, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
