Assembly Technician

Mechanical Assembler We're hiring mechanically skilled installers to support the final assembly of heavy‑duty transportation equipment. This role is ideal for candidates with automotive, farm, construction, or equipment experience who are comfortable working with tools, hydraulics, wiring, and hands‑on mechanical installs. 🔧 What You'll Do Install components onto trailers during final assembly Wire low‑voltage lighting systems on trailers Install hydraulic hoses and lines Install pneumatic air lines for suspension systems Use hand and power tools to assemble and secure components Assist in multiple assembly areas as production needs change Stand for extended periods and climb work platforms as needed Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs Follow safety, quality, and installation procedures ✔️ What We're Looking For 6+ months of experience with 12‑volt electrical wiring OR hydraulic systems 6+ months of experience using hand and power tools Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to lift 50 lbs Ability to stand for 8 hours per day Steel‑toed boots required ⭐ Nice to Have Automotive installation or repair experience Final assembly or manufacturing experience Pneumatics or air‑line installation experience Experience working on farm equipment, trucks, trailers, or job‑site equipment Comfort installing low‑voltage electrical components 🏭 Work Environment Clean, organized manufacturing facility Cool in winter, warm in summer Team‑based assembly environment

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
