What You'll Do In this role, you'll support or lead key steps in the assembly of biological products in a controlled, GMP-regulated environment. Core Responsibilities Prepare materials, equipment, and sterilized components for assembly Perform serial assembly steps following batch records and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Operate and set up equipment such as autoclaves and other assembly systems Apply and maintain proper aseptic technique Complete cleaning and environmental monitoring activities Accurately document all work in batch records and logs Support inventory management, including ERP transactions and cycle counts Identify and report issues, deviations, or opportunities for improvement Technician I (Entry-Level) Work under close supervision while learning foundational GMP practices Assist with assembly, cleaning, inventory tasks, and documentation Build skills in aseptic techniques and regulated processes Ideal for candidates starting their manufacturing or scientific career Technician II (Experienced) Independently perform assembly and equipment setup Troubleshoot routine process or equipment issues Ensure accuracy and integrity of documentation Help train and support junior team members Contribute to process improvements and efficiency
Minimum Qualifications Technician I:
High school diploma or GED 0-1 year of related experience or relevant education
Technician II:
Associate degree (science-related) or HS diploma with 2-3 years of relevant experience 2+ years in manufacturing, lab, or assembly environment preferred Key Skills & Attributes Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions Commitment to GMP compliance and quality standards Ability to learn and perform aseptic techniques Comfort with documentation and data accuracy Team-oriented mindset with solid communication skills Basic to intermediate computer skills (ERP systems, Microsoft Office) Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work in controlled lab/production environments with required PPE Regular standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and repetitive motion Exposure to cold storage, sterilized equipment, and cleaning agents Why Join Diamond Animal Health Join a company with over 60 years of expertise in advancing animal health solutions.
