Job Description

Job Description:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling and soldering electronic components and wiring assemblies, as well as supporting production related tasks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform hand soldering of electronic components, wires, and circuit boards Assemble small parts and subassemblies using hand tools and fixtures Follow work instructions, schematics, and engineering drawings Work with Quality Inspectors to ensure quality and compliance Identify and rework defective solder joints or assemblies Pick parts and subassembly kits as needed Record production data and track completed work Assist with packaging in Data Center repack as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Meet daily production targets Minimum Required Skills and Education High school diploma or GED Previous soldering/assembly experience Ability to read schematics and follow assembly instructions Must be able to effectively read, write and communicate in English Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Ability to sit for extended periods of time during shift Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills Ability to work with small components Exposure to soldering fumes with ventilation system Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
