Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Assembler and Polisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling components with precision, polishing finished products to meet quality standards, and ensuring the smooth flow of production processes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality manufacturing operations by applying your mechanical skills and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be proactive, skilled in using various hand and power tools, and capable of reading schematics and blueprints to execute assembly and finishing tasks efficiently. Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components accurately following detailed schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet specifications. Polish finished products to achieve desired surface quality using appropriate techniques and tools. Conduct quality inspections utilizing schematics and blueprint reading skills to verify assembly accuracy. Operate fabrication equipment including welding and soldering tools when necessary for assembly processes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times. Collaborate with team members in warehousing and manufacturing environments to ensure timely completion of tasks. Support the use of forklifts for material handling within the warehouse or production area. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues by applying mechanical knowledge and using diagnostic tools. Follow standard operating procedures for machining, fabrication, and assembly tasks. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing assembly, fabrication, or related roles with a focus on precision work. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, soldering, and machining. Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices. Ability to operate forklifts safely within warehouse or production settings. Knowledge of warehouse procedures including inventory management and material handling. Basic understanding of welding techniques and soldering processes is preferred. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality standards. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Assembler & Polisher Assembler & Polisher Pay:
$18•$21 1st
Shift Hours:
7:00am•3:00pm, Monday•Friday, Incremental and Saturday OT as necessary
Pay:
$18.00•$21.00 per hour
