$16.50/hr Do you want to work in a hands-on environment where you will work alongside others to make products used in well-known companies? As a Fabricator you will assist in the fabrication of specialty light weight food belts, food baskets, and fabric pieces used in the Quick Serve Restaurant line of business.

What You'll Do:

Places ends on fabricated parts for belts. Unloads cured belts from curing oven. Checks pattern on belts and weave of fabric on baskets for defects and sorts the products accordingly. Applies instructions, inserts pin, and packages belts and fabricated parts for shipment. Creates belts, baskets, and other fabricated items for the FPG business by following written or verbal work instructions. Packages belts, baskets, and other fabricated parts for shipment. Works at different work stations as production needs require and as directed by the supervisor. Works on line where tasks vary from sewing to heat sealing. Able to read orders and carry out essential functions of the job without direct supervision. Good working knowledge of quality control and attention to detail. Maintains work area, lightly cleaning as necessary. Correctly completes all inventory transactions in the ERP system. What You'll Bring Ability to regularly lift up to 15 pounds. Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds. Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience. High school or general education degree (GED) preferred, but not required. Why Join AFC?
