Job Title:
Clean room Assembler 1st shift - 20/hr. Job Description Join our dynamic team as an Assembler working on the 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 12am. Initial training will be conducted on the 1st shift for at least a month. The role involves working in a clean room environment focused on assembly, machine operation, and quality assurance of flexible materials. Responsibilities Conduct assembly in an ISO 7 clean room while using designated personal protective equipment (PPE). Operate plastic heat sealing equipment during item assembly. Learn and operate CNC machines as required. Follow multi-step processes to assemble custom-specific items with a high focus on quality and efficiency. Test assembled units to ensure they meet quality standards. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly and hand tool usage. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work diagrams. Experience with precision measuring tools. Machine operation and quality inspection skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in final assembly and quality control. Work Environment This position is based in a clean room environment with a focus on maintaining high cleanliness standards. Employees will work 8-hour shifts, primarily standing, and must be physically capable of engaging in activities such as bending, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Overtime may be required based on project needs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Peoria, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
