Job Description We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our assembly team, focusing on punching grommets and rivets into manufactured blades. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of our products. Responsibilities Assemble components by punching grommets and rivets into manufactured blades. Inspect products for quality defects and ensure adherence to production standards. Work collaboratively with a team to maintain a smooth assembly line process. Operate power tools and other equipment as needed. Follow detailed instructions to maintain consistency and quality. Essential Skills Experience in assembly or general production. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Ability to measure accurately and follow instructions precisely. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 40-50 lbs. Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Work Environment Our facility is clean and well-organized, featuring a production line alongside a welding department, shipping/receiving, and engineering department. Some areas, particularly near the furnace, can become hot. The position requires working the 3rd shift from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, with orientation starting at 6 AM on the first day. Candidates will participate in an orientation and training session to ensure they are well-prepared for their role. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
