MUST HAVE ASSEMBLY EXPERIENCE
Summary The Assembler I position encompasses the assembly of diverse subassemblies and/or finalized products within the Tool and Head departments. Core duties involve conducting functional tests to ensure compliance with specifications, executing quality checks, and ensuring punctual deliveries. These roles report directly to the Production Supervisor, crucial in the production process's efficiency and adherence to standards. Essential Functions Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to determine assembly procedures. Responsibilities Assembly of a variety of components with hand tools and power tools. Verify dimensional specifications, alignment, and functionality of assembled parts. Perform basic mechanical adjustments and alignments to ensure proper fit and operation. Perform operating tests per product checklists. Use feeler gauges, common hand tools (manual, air-driven & battery), arbor presses, and hand trucks. Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to assemble electrical components. Install electrical components such as switches, sensors, connectors, and wiring harnesses. Conduct visual inspections of assembled components to ensure adherence to quality standards. Identify and rectify any discrepancies or defects in the assembly process. Document assembly processes, test results, and any quality issues encountered. Effective communication. Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including the use and implementation of 6S. Record production data daily. Assist in the training of less qualified employees.
Position Qualifications Education:
A high school diploma (or GED) is required.
Experience:
Level I - 0-1 year of experience.
Electrical / Mechanical
experience required. Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office.
