The Assembler I position is responsible for assembling a variety of subassemblies and finished products within the Tool and Head departments. This role supports efficient production operations by performing assembly tasks, conducting functional testing, completing quality inspections, and ensuring products meet required specifications and delivery timelines. The position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and plays an important role in maintaining production quality and workflow standards. Essential Functions Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to determine proper assembly methods. Assemble components and finished products using hand tools and power tools. Inspect assembled parts to verify dimensional accuracy, alignment, and overall functionality. Perform basic mechanical adjustments and alignments to ensure proper operation and fit. Conduct operational testing according to established product checklists and specifications. Complete visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards. Identify, troubleshoot, and correct assembly issues or defects as needed. Document assembly activities, testing results, and quality concerns accurately. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production needs and issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while supporting 6S workplace standards. Record daily production data and maintain accurate production records. Assist with training and supporting less experienced team members when required.
