Position Summary:
The Assembler I is responsible for assembling a variety of subassemblies and finished products in the Tool and Head departments, performing quality and functional tests, and ensuring timely delivery. Reports to the Production Supervisor and supports production efficiency and standards.
Key Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required MUST have assembly experience (1 year minimum, Level I) Mechanical and electrical experience required Basic computer skills ( Microsoft Office ) Interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, assembly instructions, wiring diagrams Strong attention to detail, adaptability, communication, and teamwork
Core Responsibilities:
Strictly adhere to safety protocols and 6S standards Assemble components using hand tools and power tools (manual, air, battery-operated), arbor presses, hand trucks Install and assemble electrical components : switches, sensors, connectors, wiring harnesses Verify dimensional specs, alignment, and function of parts; perform mechanical adjustments as needed Conduct operating and functional tests ; use feeler gauges and test equipment Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality; identify and correct defects Document assembly processes, test results, quality issues; record production data daily Assist in training less experienced employees Effective communication within the team
