- Computer Assembly Technician

JOB OVERVIEW

We seek a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a keen eye for detail, capable of assembling, testing, and troubleshooting computer hardware and components. This role is critical in ensuring that our products meet the high standards of quality and performance that our customers expect.

RESPONSIBILITIES 1.

Assembly and Testing Assemble computer systems, including installing processors, memory modules, storage devices, and other components. Perform testing on assembled systems to ensure proper functionality and performance. Troubleshoot the basic operation of the computer using hardware and software tools. Follow work order instructions, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), and checklists to ensure accurate and efficient assembly. 2. Quality Requirement Follow operating rules and aim for quality. Report all assembly and testing activities, including any issues encountered and resolutions implemented. Complete the task efficiently within the assigned timeline. 3. Collaboration Work closely with other technicians and engineers to improve assembly processes and resolve technical issues. Participate in team meetings and provide feedback on assembly procedures observation. 4. Continuous Improvement Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer hardware and assembly techniques. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate Degree or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics, computer technology, or a related field preferred. Experience in computer assembly and hardware troubleshooting will be a plus. Understanding of computer hardware components and their functions. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and work orders. Ability to multitask in the operations of production and testing, and work independently. Ability to finish the daily assigned task without fail. Ability to use hand tools, like screwdrivers, and other small assembly and production-related tools. Ability to lift and handle computer components to 50 pounds and assemblies. Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of quality in workmanship. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and repair hardware issues quickly.

$42,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
