Job Description
SCHEDULE
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM CT. Overtime or Weekends may be required. In this role, a typical day will look like:Assembly of Products:
Follow standard operating procedures, work orders, and specifications to assemble parts or components into finished products. Ensure that all parts are correctly installed. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other machinery to assemble products, making sure to meet production goals.Quality:
Inspect and test products during and after assembly to ensure they meet the required quality standards. Identify and resolve any defects or issues in the products. Collaborate withTeam Members:
Work closely with other team members, supervisors, and engineers to improve assembly processes, resolve production issues, and maintain workflow. Adhere toSafety Protocols:
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to avoid accidents, ensuring personal protective equipment (PPE) is used and safety standards are met. Safety glasses and safety shoes are worn in manufacturing areas.Troubleshooting:
Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the assembly process and collaborate with the appropriate team members to resolve them.Continuous Improvement:
Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills, improve efficiency, and contribute to product quality.Maintain Clean Work Area:
Keep workstations and surrounding areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards to maintain a safe working environment. The essential requirements of the job include:Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 year of previous experience in manufacturing or assembly is preferred.Technical Skills:
Basic knowledge of assembly processes and equipment. Ability to read and interpret operating procedures and technical documents. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.Physical Stamina and Dexterity :
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Capability to stand, bend, twist, and crouch for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to assemble parts with precision. Attention toDetail :
Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of the finished product. Ability to spot defects or errors during the assembly process and take corrective action.Problem-Solving Abilities :
Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during the assembly process. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.Time Management :
Ability to meet production deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good organizational skills to manage tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.Basic Math Skills :
Ability to perform basic math calculations to measure parts, count inventory, and complete work logs. The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The compensation range for this role is $17.00 - $21.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.Note:
