Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and the ability to read blueprints effectively. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the capability to work in a fast-paced construction environment. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for fabricating metal components and structures, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the process. Pay rate will be based off experience. Responsibilities Perform welding tasks using MIG welding techniques on various materials. Utilize plasma cutting equipment to shape and cut metal components as per specifications. Using band saws and other power hand tools to cut metal to required specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements. Operate forklifts and cranes safely to move materials and finished products within the worksite. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience in welding and fabrication techniques. Proficiency in plasma cutting, blueprint reading, and using power tools. Familiarity with manufacturing operations and safety regulations. Ability to operate forklifts and cranes; certification is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in welding/fabrication preferred.
