Assembly Technician-Defense

Position:

Assembly Technician-Defense (Sheet Metal / Composite) Description

• Perform sheet metal and composite assembly for the production of stealth aircraft, fighter jets, and/or military helicopters
• Complete riveting, drilling, and countersinking to install components and fasteners for the fuselage
• Complete sealing of aircraft structures and components
• Self-inspect components and assemblies, including frames and skins, performing rework when necessary
• Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

Active Secret Clearance - we cannot consider candidates that don't currently possess an Active Secret Clearance 2+ years of systems and/or structures installation in the production of aircraft or spacecraft Tools are NOT required Skills Assembly, Production, drilling, riveting, countersinking, sheet metal, composite, Sealing, fuel cell, sheet metal repair Top Skills Details Assembly, Production, drilling, riveting, countersinking, sheet metal, composite

Additional Skills & Qualifications Required:

Active Secret Clearance - submittals must include status check 2+ years of aircraft structures experience Experience with sheet metal and composite drilling Must be flexible on shift (primarily 1st or 2nd, but have to be open to anything) Must be willing to work mandatory OT, including some weekends

Preferred:

4+ years of aircraft structures experience

Pay:

$45/hr Per Diem is available

Work Schedule:

Must be flexible on shift (primarily 1 st and 2 nd shift) Must be open to OT, including some mandatory

Saturdays Placement:
