Experience:
2 + year manufacturing environment preferred
Job Duties:
Apply paper/tape masking to production parts prior to chemical or forming process Prepare parts for prime and paint operations by solvent cleaning, sanding, and taping Perform removal of tape residue during the paint prep operations as necessary Mask and de-mask parts as required Complete work flow documentation thoroughly and properly
Inspection:
Knowledge of the expected response and appearance of the material being masked Keep work area clean and organized; following Clean-as-you-go procedures. Wear proper safety equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all times Keep work area clean Assist other departments as necessary
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required Must be 18 years of age Previous experience in aerospace manufacturing environment, preferred Dependable, team-oriented, and good communication skills Must be self-motivated and produce quality work Excellent attendance and positive attitude is required Must be able to thoroughly follow instructions and be attentive to details Team player attitude
Working Conditions:
Some overtime may be required Ability to regularly and frequently lift 25 pounds Will be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pushing, pulling, lifting, moving, carrying light and heavy loads, and climbing stairs and ladders. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate small power tools and other equipment
