Full-time Job Summary:
The TEKNO Assembly Technician IV is responsible for interpreting blueprints and instructions to assemble TEKNO parts and products to specifications. This technician uses various electrical and mechanical hand tools, installs wiring and field devices, troubleshoots electrical problems, and collaborates with engineering and project managers. This Assembly Technician displays a strong attention to detail, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work collaboratively. This position as needed will also support our manufacturing operations and engineering team by assisting with the implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting. This role involves collaborating with engineers, operators, and maintenance personnel to optimize production efficiency and quality. This role exhibits strong technical skills, hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Read and interpret mechanical, pneumatic and electrical blueprints and written instructions to assemble all TEKNO parts or products to the required specifications. Use various electrical/Mechanical hand tools such as Multi Meters, solder gun, impacts, drills, saws, tape measure, laser levels, hammer drills etc., as required in the assembly area. Mechanically set build lines in final assembly/customer site during installation including level/plumb and lag. Install wire way and air piping as required in final assembly. Build electrical control enclosures/panels and smaller electrical sub-assemblies. Install and wire Field devices onto mechanical equipment. Ensure all electrical wiring and components are properly labeled per blueprint spec. Trouble shoot electrical problems and make repairs after equipment start up. Assist with planning and installation on electrical upgrades and installation/modification of equipment. Running conduit for equipment upgrades and installations. Troubleshoot and recommend solutions for process logic problems. Work closely with engineering and project managers to run off equipment and train on new issues. Assist with the ongoing improvement of electromechanical systems design and development. During times of TEKNO or project demands, the TEKNO Assembly Tech can be designated as the project point of contact by their supervisor. Must be able to travel to jobs sites for both initial installation of equipment/ production start-up but also for service or warranty issues. Must be able to travel on short notice. The employee is responsible for assembling the product according to TEKNO and customer standards, ensuring zero quality defects. Completes all other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of NEC and how to apply to circuits and fusing. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to interpret graphs and charts. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situation. Ability to get along well with co-workers, customers, vendors and other work—related associates. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Education & Experience:

). 5 years' experience with controls and electrical maintenance in a manufacturing setting. Controls, servo motor, servo and variable frequency drive experience. Experience with networking a plus.

Ability to hear warning signals, machinery, and verbal instructions. Environmental Tolerance Work in extreme temperatures (hot/cold), noisy environments, or dusty/dirty conditions.
