Job Description

RF Cable Assembly Technician responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting cable assemblies using product drawings, assembly procedures, and electrical and mechanical test equipment. Job Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Basic math skills Ability to use hand tools and semi-automated tools or assembly fixtures Ability to read and interpret product drawings, assembly documentation, and technical instructions Computer proficiency for operating production programs and accessing documentation Documentation and recordkeeping experience related to production or assembly activities Ability to operate electrical and mechanical test and inspection equipment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Preferred Skills 1 year of RF-related assembly experience 1 year of mechanical assembly experience Experience with cable assembly processes including cutting, prepping, and trimming cable Experience performing dimensional inspections and mechanical tests Experience supporting quality assurance investigations and root cause analysis Job Responsibilities Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with operational procedures and policies Prepare assembly work by reviewing product documentation, assembly procedures, parts lists, and tooling requirements Set up and operate equipment, tools, and fixtures to cut, prep, and trim cables according to specifications Assemble connectors, labels, and associated components to create complete cable assemblies Perform in-process inspections including workmanship verification, dimensional checks, and interface gauging Conduct mechanical inspections and tests including dimensional checks, connector retention testing, and torque verification Record and document inspection results, test results, materials, tools, and fixtures used during assembly processes Perform labor, parts, and production transactions accurately within production systems Support quality assurance activities including participation in root cause analysis for assembly or process issues Use electrical and mechanical test equipment to verify functionality and compliance with product specifications.
Pay:
