COPY LINK link Adecco is hiring for Structural Assemblers for a manufacturer in Peabody on 1st and 2nd shift! These are temp to perm opportunities. 1st shift schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-330pm $23-25 per hour 2nd shift schedule: Monday-Thursday 230pm-1am $26-28 per hour Key Responsibilities
Blue Interpretation:
Read and analyze engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to determine assembly layouts and sequences.
Assembly & Fabrication:
Position, align, and fit structuralponents using jigs, fixtures, and hoists.
Fastening & Fitting:
Secure parts using fasteners (e.g., rivets, bolts, screws) or structural adhesives.
Precision Finishing:
Cut, trim, file, drill, ream, and deburr parts to achieve precise fits and clearances.
Quality Control:
Inspect and test assembled units using measurement instruments to ensurepliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
Maintenance:
Clean and maintain work areas (often adhering to FOD-free—Foreign Object Debris—standards) and tools. Typical Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
High school diploma or GED is generally required. Technical or trade school certifications in mechanics, electronics, or airframe assembly are a distinct advantage.
Experience:
1-3+ years of professional experience in mechanical or structural assembly, specifically working with blues and pneumatic tools.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with pneumatic drills, riveting guns, measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers), and shop machinery. If interested, directly!
Pay Details:
