As a Millwork Door Assembler, you'll be responsible for constructing custom doors and windows, ensuring each product meets exact specifications. You'll work closely with your team to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely.What You'll Do:
As a Millwork Door Assembler, you will be responsible for: Constructing doors and windows according to client specifications while verifying product and raw material details for accuracy. Setting up machinery and equipment in accordance with detailed specifications to ensure precision. Transporting raw materials and finished products to the appropriate locations, including loading and unloading inventory. Applying math concepts such as fractions, decimals, and percentages to accurately perform calculations relevant to assembly tasks. Managing and reporting on production, quality, and order fulfillment processes to ensure optimal performance. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety regulations, and following safety protocols. Training and supervising coworkers when needed, providing guidance to ensure completion of quality work. Collaborating with the sales and management teams to promote and explain fabrication processes and assist with inventory management.What You'll Bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will have: A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience of at least 2 years. Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to take on additional responsibilities. Ability to read and interpret technical instructions, blueprints, and specifications. Basic math skills and understanding of fractions, decimals, and percentages. Physical ability to stand, lift, and bend throughout the work shift. Experience or interest in working in a manufacturing environment, preferably with prior window or door assembly experience. Why Join Us in Portland, ME?
