Job Description

Lift King Products is seeking a dependable, hands-on Fabrication Technician to support our manufacturing operations. This role involves working across multiple areas of the shop, including welding, steel fabrication, finishing, and general production support. We are looking for someone who can take raw materials and help turn them into finished, high-quality products. This is a do-what-needs-to-be-done position - the right person is willing to work in all areas of the shop and takes pride in their work. Key Responsibilities Welding & Fabrication Perform MIG welding and general steel fabrication Cut, prep, and fit materials for production Read and follow basic prints or instructions Cutting & Material Prep Oeprate saws and cutting equipment Measure and prepare materials accurately Maintain organized material flow in the shop Finishing & Coating Assist with powder coating and finishing processes Prep parts for coating (cleaning, masking, staging) Ensure finished products meet quality standards General Shop Support Assist in assembly and production as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Help where needed to keep production moving efficiently What We're Looking For Experience with welding and basic fabrication (MIG preferred) Comfortable working with steel, tools, and shop equipment Willingness to work in multiple areas - not just one task Strong work ethic and reliability Attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to stay productive without constant supervision Requirements Prior fabrication, welding, or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely Comfortable working in a hands-on shop environment Basic mechanical aptitude required
Schedule & Compensation Full-time:
40 hours per week (Monday-Friday) Significant overtime opportunities available
Pay:
$16.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level)
Performance Bonus:
Production-based incentives can increase earnings by up to an additional $4.00 per hour If you are someone who takes pride in your work, is willing to learn, and can step into multiple areas of a shop environment, we want to hear from you.
