About the Role We are looking for a skilled and motivated Conveyor Belt Fabricator to join our team. This is a hands-on, multi-faceted role centered on conveyor belt fabrication, cutting, splicing, and preparing belting to customer specifications, with additional responsibilities in product delivery, warehouse operations, and shop support. Key Responsibilities Cut, splice, and fabricate conveyor belting to meet precise customer specifications Operate fabrication equipment including cutting tables, splicing tools, and related machinery Perform quality checks to ensure fabricated products meet required standards Deliver products to customers at their facilities, primarily local runs, with occasional deliveries up to ~3 hours round trip Represent IDI professionally during customer-facing deliveries and on-site interactions Assist with warehouse operations including receiving incoming shipments and processing outgoing orders Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment Support the broader team with day-to-day operational needs as they arise Qualifications Prior experience in conveyor belt fabrication, cutting, or splicing is strongly preferred Mechanical aptitude and a hands-on mindset are essential, we are willing to train the right candidate Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required for product deliveries) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the workday Forklift certification or prior forklift operation experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Dependable, self-motivated, and a team player who thrives in a small business environment Who We're Looking For Skills and experience matter, but they are only part of what we are looking for.
