What would you do? The Parts Technician plays a critical role in supporting our assembly operations and order fulfillment by ensuring parts are accurately assembled, prepared, and available to meet production demands. Parts Technicians follow clearly defined work instructions and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion of assigned work. This role involves performing a variety of repetitive assembly operations using hand tools and testing fixtures to assemble components or completed units. Do you have what it takes?
You must be/have:
Comfortable with a variety of mechanical hand tools Extremely comfortable using iPads and PC's, including apps, email, and job tracking software Motivated to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards Able to multitask and prioritize according to production needs A proven ability to think critically and recognize/solve problems when given the appropriate tools Able to follow digital work instructions and understand complex technical drawings A good team player able to work well with others Able to work independently and with minimum supervision Able to lift at least 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and have excellent manual dexterity and vision Experience in general mechanical assembly work is a plus Leadership experience is a plus Minimum of a High School GED At Unist, our core values of Customer Focus, Integrity, Innovation, Personal Responsibility, and Strong Relationships are more than posters on a wall.
